There seem no taker to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ in Jammu which has been included in the list of Smart Cities. Cleanliness is the basic requirement for any city to include in the list of Smart City, but Jammu Municipal Corporation is least bothered about the cleanliness of the ‘City of Temples. Every year thousands of tourist visits Jammu and Kashmir during sight seen one can easily find heaps of garbage dump along roadsides. Garbage heaps presents the ugliest look of the City of Temple. While passing through Trikuta Nagar, one of the posh and highclass areas of the Jammu, Young Bites team found heaps of garbage alongside road and also the condition of road is dilapidated. As no dustbins are installed by JMC in various sectors of Trikuta Nagar, citizens are forced to throw garbage in the open.
