Randhawa holds series of meeting in RS Block

Jammu, Oct 14 Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today conducted extensive tour to various Panchayats of R.S Pura Block to campaign in support of BJP candidate for ensuing elections to Block Development Council (BDC). During his visit to Panchayat Rathana, Panchayat Kalyana, Panchayat Agra Chak and Panchayat Gagian Randhawa met Sarpanches and Panches and sought support for BJP candidate Yuvraj Singh. While speaking on the occasion Randhawa assured all the Panches and Sarpanches that their support to the BJP candidate would not go waste as the Central leadership is keen in strengthening rural India. He said that the BJP has fulfilled its promise of holding elections to Panchayats and Municipalities which are the roots of the democracy. He said that the elected representative of Panchayats would now be able to utilize their funds as per their choice and requirement in their respective Wards, villages and Panchayats. Randhawa further said that there is no dearth of funds and the pace of development in rural areas would witness tremendous growth once the elections to BDCs are over and by the time the transition of State to Union Territory would also be completed. He said BJP is the only party which want to take every individual along irrespective of caste, colour and creed whereas the others are playing vote bank politics and are dividing people on communal and regional lines.
