22 drug peddlers arrested by Awantipora Police

YB News Srinagar, Sep 11 In decisive action against drug menace, Awantipora police arrested 22 drug peddlers from different areas of Awantipora & Srinagar in last 10 days. Four of them were arrested from Pampore, 07 from Awantipora, 10 from Tral and another notorious drug peddler was arrested from city centre. They have been taken into custody and cases under relevant sections of law have already been registered against them. Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
