DDC Anantnag reviews progress of PM- KSN prog

YB News Anantnag, Sep 11 District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir, today chaired a meeting to review the progress achieved under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Saman Nidhi (PM– KSN) programme. During the meeting, the DDC directed the concerned officers to reconcile the targets at Tehsil level in front of the Patwaries so that the scheme is implemented in letter and spirit. The meeting was informed that against the target of 85000 beneficiaries to be covered under the programme in the district, 74.67% forms have been uploaded under the scheme while as 715 grievances have been disposed off till date. It was also said that 34.80% beneficiaries have been paid while as payment of 22000 beneficiaries is under progress. The meeting was informed that 30770 fresh forms have been sent to Revenue Department for verification and 7155 forms have been handed over to NIC. The meeting was attended by ACR Anantnag, DIO (NIC), Tehsildars, Chief Agriculture Officer, SDOs and Naib Tehsildars of the district.
