J&K, Ladakh will get benefited as per laws applicable in country: Ram Madhav

Senior BJP leader and national general secretary Ram Madhav on Friday said that the newly created Union Territories Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will get benefited as per all laws applicable in the country post Abrogation of Article 370.
“After the revocation of Article 370, all laws applicable in the country, will automatically become applicable in J&K and Ladakh,” Mr Madhav here told reporters.
He said that people here will also enjoy all the facilities and avail benefits enjoyed by others in different parts of the country.
However, under political reservation, seats for Gujjars and Bakerwals will also now be reserved, he said.
Meanwhile on Kashmir situation, Mr Madhav said, “the situation is quite peaceful and the complete normalcy will be restored in days while the administration is keeping eye on every thing.”
“The festival of Eid and Independence Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in the valley, which shows that people are happy and want to live i peace,” he added.
He further said that the Abrogation of Article 370 has been welcomed by the people of J&K and Ladakh.
