Dogra Sangathan protests against pvt schools

VIKAS GUPTA Jammu, June 11 A protest was today lodged by Dogra Sangathan and Parents Association at Tawi Bridge demanding implementation of the order of the High Court. A strong protest demonstration was lodged at Tawi Bridge by the Dogra Sangathan led by its president Amit Kapoor and the Parent’s Association against the private schools for charging hefty amount as annual charges and admission fee. While addressing the protestors Kapoor said that two months have passed when they launched agitation against the private schools in order to generate mass awareness among the parents regarding the order issued by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir directing authorities to instruct all the Private schools not to charge additional amount under the garb of annual charges and admission fees. The court has also directed to not hike tuition fee without the prior permission from the authorities. Kapoor alleged that the administration has constituted a inspection team for Jammu district only whereas the order was for the entire state. He said that till date only eleven schools have been raided whereas the others are still looting the gullible parents
