Mohsin Naseer has been selected as observer in International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA) to promote tourism and transportation IMUNA is a United States not-for-profit organization affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI), and is dedicated to promote global issues. Mohsin shares his views with Young Bites correspondent Pooja Thakur Q. How you feel after you got selected to IMUNA? MN: It is a proud moment for me as well as for my family that I have been selected by an international organization which is affiliated with the United Nations. I will promote tourism and transportation of India. I promise that I will start working from the ground to promote tourism in J&K. Tourism is the backbone of the economy of J&K. The more inflow of tourists means more employment to local youth. Q. What kind of development is required to promote tourism? MN: Bhaderwah is most beautiful valley in Jammu having mesmerizing picturesque but as there is no proper road connectivity the tourist avoids visiting there. If the Chenab valley is connected with all weather roads the inflow of the tourist will definitely increase. Q. Which place is your first priority? MN: As I am representing India worldwide but my main priority is Jammu & Kashmir. We as a state are connected with the country with airways, railways and roadways so it is very easy for domestic tourists as well as international tourists to visit J&K. Q. Who is your role model and support system? MN: My Dad is my role model and my family is my support system with my family’s support and God’s grace now I am a successful person.
