BSNL fails to make its defunct tower functional

Bharat Sanchar Nigham limited (BSNL) Tower is lying defunct since last six months in Kisthwar and despite repeated requests the authorities at the helm of affairs have failed to make it functional as the locals are suffering a lot due to non-connectivity.
According to reports people of Inshan Marwah are suffering badly due to non connectivity as the only BSNL tower in the area is lying defunct since last six months. The locals while talking to Youngbites correspondent, Waseem Akram Butt, said that they have requested the BSNL authorities several times but no action was taken.
The locals said that in the modern times when technology is taking its toll the people especially the student community is suffering a lot due to the non availability of internet which helps them a lot in their studies.
Moreover, the people are not able to contact their near and dear ones during the hours of grief and distress. The locals said that we wonder that are we really living in 21st Century.
The people of the area have requested to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik, to intervene and direct the BSNL authorities to immediately make this tower functional.
