Poshana girls bring laurels to Rajouri -Poonch

TOSEEF R GANAI Poonch, May 13 Exams are tough but champions make it interesting with their superb performance. Layeba Mir and Adeeba Mir both daughters of Shakeel Ahmed Mir and nieces of SHO Anzir Mir of village Poshana brought laurels to district Rajouri and Poonch and their family. Layeba Mir student of class 12th of Himalayan Education Mission Rajouri scored 479 marks. She appeared in combined subjects with Math and Biology and emerged as topper in Rajouri-Poonch and 3rd topper in Jammu division. Another Adeeba Mir younger sister of Layeeba Mir scored 480 marks in 10th class examination. It is a great achievement of these girls that hailing from such a backward village of district Poonch they showed exemplary performance in their results. Most of the families of Poshana had shifted to Surankote and Thanamandi for education of their children. Unfortunately, this village lacks all basic facilities like road, hospital, bridge even foot paths.
