Martand Singh campaignes for father Vikramaditya Singh

HIMANSHU SHARMA Katra, Apr 11 A huge bike rally was organised in holy town Katra to welcome Martand singh, son of vikramaditya Singh, who was in the town to campaign for his father. Vikaramaditya is contesting Lok Sabha elections from congress on kathua-reasi-doda constituency. Martand Singh was received with great enthusiasm by Congress youth workers under youth leader Varun Magotra. The bike rally following the vehichle of Martand Singh roamed through Jammu road via main bus stand to Banganga road and then stopped at Congressoffice on railway road. The people of Katra waved and shakes hands with the prince of J and K. After the rally, Martand Singh addressed the gathering of young Congress workers. He said the time for change has come when young voters will play their role in ousting the BJP government which has failed at every level and has done nothing in the name of development. He stated his royal family has 200 years old relationship with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and emphasised role played by his forefathers to keep this state safe and secure. Martand Singh appealed voters to vote for Vikramaditya Singh by pressing Congress symbol on 18th of April. Youth President Varun Magotra also crushed BJP for it's promises made in 2014. He reminded people of the promise made by PM Narendra Modi to give Baridars the rights of which they were deprived after formation of Shrine Board. He smashed the politics of hate by BJP which has led to communal violence, mob lynchings etc. Present at the rally were manav sadhotra, Sajjad Banihali, Sachin Dubey, Sandeep Dubey, Congress councillor Ravi Nag etc. Along with other youth Congress workers.
