CONGRESS IS BIG PARTY, SHAM LAL IS IN LOSS NOT PARTY: SHAHNAWAZ

POOJA THAKUR Jammu, Apr 8 Shahnawaz, Congress General Secretary while interacting with Young- Bites said that all the promises which were made by BJP during the elections of 2014 proved to be hollow, for example Modi said that every account will be credited with with Rs 15 lakh but not even single penny was given to anybody, then he promised to give 2 crore jobs but people are still facing the problem of unemployment in the country. He said that prices of diesel and petrol have risen 3 fold. Farmers were promised for loan waiver, but farmers are committing suicide. On Sham Lal leaving the party he said that Congress is a big party, many people come and go, people like Sham Lal will have the same fate as Lal Singh had. By joining BJP his own character has been assassinated. On the development of Bhaderwah region he said that Bhaderwah has been developed only under Congress regime under the able guidance of Ghulam Nabi Azad. The Doda to Kishtwar road was made under Congress rule. Most of the roads in the difficult terrain are due to Congress. All the school, colleges were developed under Congress govt. But now under BJP all the school, college infrastructure is in shambles. On militancy Shahnawaz said, before 2014 Kashmir was free of militancy, people had no fear but now under BJP govt militancy had risen manifold, every day our soldiers are getting martyred. When asked about Congress agenda for upcoming elections, he said Congress will do following things: *20% poor families will get Rs 6000 per month. *Free education till 12th for all. *Defence budget will increase. *Paramilitary forces who get killed in militant operation will get martyr status. *Bill for women in reservation will be passed. *In Central Govt jobs there will be 33% reservation for women.
