Blind hit and run case solved within an hour

JATINDER KHAJURIA Kathua, April 8 Kathua Police solved blind hit and run accident case within an hour of the incident in which one person lost his life. Incident took place at NHW Bagial Morh Kathua when a pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle being driven rashly and negligently going towards Punjab which fled away from the spot. Police team after receiving the information rushed to spot and found the person dead. Police instantly sounded alert to all the checkpoints especially on NHW. Police team led by SI Ashwani under the directions of Inspector Rajesh Sharma SHO PS Lakhanpur based on gathered informations about unknown vehicle succeeded in intercepting the car bearing registration no. HR29AT-0718 and apprehended its driver namely Krishan Pal S/o Subash Chander R/o Faridabad Haryana. Police team took driver into custody along with the car and in the case.Pertinently the deceased is identified as Bihari Lal S/o Dittu Ram R/o Chak Shehzada Kathua.The body of the deceased was shifted to SDH Kathua. Further investigation into the case is going on.
