While no noticeable infrastructure development has taken place in Bhaderwah over the past few years, even the roads have now gone from bad to worse.
Condition of the road network of the district is very poor and no repairs have been done over the years, is the common refrain of the residents. It is said that the roads are the lifeline of development and if you want to see the development of a particular area just go and watch the roads.
Keeping this in view, we can say that the inhabitants of Bhalla Trown,Thalsara and Bonjoi Villages and other villages are up in arms against the government for its failure to repair dilapidated road stretch which is the boundary and main connectivity to areas. According to the locals, on12 kilometer long Bhalla Trown road is in pathetic condition from main Bazar of Bhalla.
"The road has numerous potholes due to which people travelling in public transport and private vehicles face huge problems," said a local.
We submitted several representations with senior functionaries of the Department, but they failed to do anything substantial in this regard," locals added. The residents sought the intervention of District Development Commissioner Doda in this regard.
