Blind hit and run case solved by Hiranagar Police within hour

Police Station Hiranagar solved blind hit and run accident case within hours of the incident in which one person lost his life.
Incident took place in the intervening night when a pedestrian was and negligently hit by an unknown car going towards Jammu at Gurah Mundian Hiranagar and fled away.
Police team after receiving the information rushed to spot and found the person dead. Police instantly alerted all the checkpoints especially on NHW.
Police team under the directions of Inspector J.J.Bhagat SHO PS Hiranagar based on gathered informations about unknown vehicle succeeded in locating the car bearing registration no. JK0BG-5121 and its driver namely Amit Gupta S/o Kuldeep Kumar R/o Channi Himmat Jammu. Police took driver into custody along with the car.
The deceased was identified as Ramu Age 24 S/o Suriya R/o Satna MP A/p Gurah Mundian Hiranagar.The body of the deceased was shifted to SDH Hiranagar.
