Civic Action Programme conducted by Railway Police

The students of government middle school, Manoon received numerous gifts as part of Civic Action programme conducted by Government Railway Police, Katra.
SSP R K Sambyal along with his team distributed the much needful school bags, shoes and games like carrom, chess etc. to 59 students of the school. The children were extremely happy to receive the precious gifts. The Railways Police with this heart winning gesture received applause from the villagers as well. A small function was organised where students of the Manoon middle school presented cultural activities comprising of dance, comedy skit, dogri poems in front of villagers and of course, SSP R K Sambyal and his team.
Speaking to media, SSP Sambyal said that initiatives under such programmes help to build a strong relationship between security forces and general public. He said his main intention through this endeavor is to reinforce the call given by our Prime Minister about 'Beti bachao, beti padao'. The railways Police will continue conducting such civic action programmes in future as well and will convince parents to continue their child's education.
Those present in the function were SSP Railways Police, Katra R K Sambyal, DSP Bodh Raj, SHO Narinder Singh along with the school staff, students and villagers.
