Free Birds Production, an NGO organized a road traffic awareness drive with the support of Traffic Police and Police station Pacca Danga. The aim was to make the people aware of importance of wearing helmets, seatbelts and to make them obey the traffic signals.
While interacting with the traffic cop, he said that that these kinds of awareness camps are very important for making the people aware of the traffic rules. Especially the youngsters do not wear helmets, seat belts while driving, so they are being challaned so that in future they do not break the rules.
More than 25 challans were cut and the number was rising as most of the two wheeler drivers were without helmets and the four wheeler drivers were not wearing seat belts.
MD and Founder Free Birds Production, Aariz said, “ We perform these programs for the people, we want people to be aware of the traffic rules. We keep on organizing such programs. We will cover up various areas of Jammu. We thank IG Police and other officials who allow us to conduct such programs with the support of Traffic Police. So far 25 challans have been cut and our target is 100 because we want to challan all who are not obeying the traffic rules. We are getting messages to organize such programs from Kathua, Samba and other places, so we will go to every place to organize such programs and make people aware of traffic rules”.
