Grievances Cell in fully active mode, redressed grievances in record time

Day one from taking the charge of as the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, the performance of every department has been registered a remarkable growth, among all these departments; the Grievance Cell of J&K is stands first.
Pertinent to mention here that since the imposition of Governor’s Rule, during 20th June – 9th November, 2018, the Grievance Cell (including Governor’s Secretariat) received 29999 complaints/grievances of which 29147 have been dealt with/forwarded to the concerned quarters for timely redressal while as 476 complaints/grievances are under process.
According to the details available, in total, during this period, 33908 grievances were received, 33056 have been dealt with/forwarded to the concerned quarters for timely redressal and 476 grievances are under process as on 09.11.2018.
Similarly, on the directions of Governor, all the three Advisors to the Governor have been regularly meeting and hearing the grievances of delegations/deputations and individuals. The three Advisors to Governor have attended/heard 2007 delegations and 1902 individuals from 17th July, 2018 till date. All the grievances received by the Advisors have been dealt with/forwarded to the concerned Field Officers/Departments for their immediate redressal/disposal. Besides, on the directions of Governor, Satya Pal Malik, the Advisors are regularly reviewing the disposal of the grievances pertaining to their respective departments.
“This is very impressive growth, that the grievance cell has been registered, this might for be the first time that the cell has registered such a growth, which is remarkable and appreciable,” said a top government official, he further wished that the other government department must get some lesson and register a same growth as like to the grievance cell.
