To teach a lesson to the habitual violators, the traffic department today launched a special drive after laying nakas at some specified places, where there were the complaints of more violations.
“Despite introducing some revolutionary steps in the traffic system to bring back the derailed traffic system back on the tracks, some habitual violators failed to follow the traffic rules and continue their violations. In this regard to control such violations, the today’s naka was laid and such nakas were laid at some more locations,” said a top traffic cop deputed at the naka.
“We are not here to challan the people or habitual violators, we are here to aware the people to follow the traffic norms and keep a safe driving, this is very important to follow the traffic norms as the family members of everyone need them and this is possible only when the people will follow the traffic rules, so make their driving safe and this will also lead to the safe lives of many others,” he said.
“Daily many people lose their precious lives due to their or some other faulty driving, we are trying our best to save the lives of people and awareness is the only option, but on the same time this is the duty to people of follow rules and save the lives of people,” he added.
While talking to the Young Bites, Manjeet Singh, a biker said, “This is very good thing that the traffic cops are doing here and trying to make the habitual violators aware about to follow the traffic norms as this is important for healthy and safe driving.”
“We should cooperate with the cops, who are trying our best to aware us about the traffic rules, this will also help to make our roads free from the unending traffic jams and will also decrease the accidents on roads,” said Sunita Sharma, a teacher by profession.
