JKP discusses Amarnath Yatra arrangements with Hoteliers

In the context of upcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra, Police Sub Division West held a meeting with the Hotel Association where the hotels falling within the busy and heavily frequented Jewel Chowk and the adjoining areas participated and had a detailed interaction with the SDPO West Jammu Pranav Mahajan and SHO Nowabad Neeraj Bhagat.

At the outset SDPO West Pranav Mahajan emphasised the importance of maintaining complete and proper record of the Reception Register wherein all the entries should be filled in complete detail.

Pranav emphasized that not only the CCTVs need to be installed but that they should be of good quality and should be strategically placed for which the police will render all the possible help.

He told the hoteliers that under no circumstances any person with a weapon should be allowed to stay in their premises.

SDPO Pranav Mahajan while interacting stated that as per the directions of SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta, IPS regular hotel checking and market checking under the supervision of SP City North Vinay Kumar is being done regularly.
