Parents of the 8-year-old girl who was brutally raped and murdered in Kathua shared the sorrow of losing their daughter. During nomads’ seasonal migration, the family of the victim while passing through Udhampur expressed their grief with Young Bites and father of Asifa demanded death sentence to the culprits.
“The rape and murder of Asifa should have shaken all those who believe in human values and democracy in India. The delay in justice to the poor is not acceptable as this is a matter of concern to every individual not to any particular family,” said Mohd Akhtar, father of Asifa Bano, while travelling to the Srinagar via Sanasar by road and through mountains today. The family of victim Asifa spoke to our correspondent said, “we just want to see the killers and rapist of our daughter to be hanged till death that will be complete justice to our child loss.” “ we are living a hell of a life and we ran out from the district because of fear we left all of our houses and land as it is just to ensure the safety of our other family members,” said her mother Rafia Bano at Doodhar Bridge in Udhampur .
“No religion in the world allows the rape of minors and the recent incident of rape and murder of Asifa is not only heart wrenching but also condemnable in all words,” said Anzar Ahmad, uncle, “no culprit should be spared, complete justice should be done. Our daughters should get justice,”
