CE Design, Inspections & Quality Control reviews progress of checking of designs

Chief Engineer Design, Inspections and Quality Control J&K held a review meeting on 19 March 2018 to discuss the status of checking/ vetting of designs of the projects and other issues.

In the meeting, threadbare discussions were held on issues such as status of improvement of electrification of Hydraulic Research Station/Material Testing Laboratory, Jammu, purchase of Engineering Books on design and codes, issues related to Road Safety Audit Cell and Progress on construction of Conference Hall/ Training Hall.

During the meeting, Chief Engineer, K.K. Gupta stressed upon the officers for timely vetting of the design of the projects received in the Directorate.

Among others the meeting was attended by Joint Director Suresh Sabharwal, Dy. Director (Highways & Bridges) Atul Bali, Dy. Director Central, Sanjay Gupta, Dy. Director DDO Varinder Gupta, Dy. Director Channel Manoj Guptaand Research Officer (Hydraulic Research Station/Material Testing Laboratory) Amit Sharma.
