Categorically, in the present scenario, it needfully becomes requisite that State government mitigate the miseries of common masses and is coming up to the expectations and aspirations of the people of the State.
However, the majority of people in our state depends upon agriculture sector for which there is need of ameliorating the cultivation technique for which the awareness program like KisanMaila should be organized in remote area of the state. So that it will provide awareness among local farmers about scientific and innovative methods in agriculture sector. Notably, the central and state governments had announced several schemes for the benefit of the farmers. Prime Minister FasalBimaYogina, Prime Minister Krishi SichayiYogina and other schemes are aimed to increase the productivity and double the farmer’s income by 2022.
Whereas, Jammu and Kashmir is an Agricultural state as most of the people are directly or indirectly related to agricultural and its allied department. It has become imperative for the department to provide innovative methods in agriculture so that monthly income of farmers would be increased. During the Kissanmela, different departments had displayed new technology introduced in the agriculture sector to increase the income of farmers.
Particularly, the government should provide equal opportunity for growth and development to every citizen of the state. The government has to initiate revolutionary steps to solve day to day problems of the common masses.
He said the developmental activities initiated by the Government have changed the socio-economic profile of the people of the state especially those living in hilly and far-flung areas. He also stressed the need to develop trust and maintain coordination among local administration for speedy development and better delivery of Government schemes on the ground. Moreover, concerned officers have to take into confidence the local representatives while formulating new schemes, projects and other development programmes to ensure need-based development.
