Bar Association Baramulla condemns statement of Superintendent of Post office Baramulla

District Bar Association Baramulla condemns the press statement issued by Superintendent of Post office Baramulla Vijay Chowdary for releasing a biased and derogatory statement regarding the change of Post Office Pass port Seva Kendra from Baramulla to District Bandipora.



Today in an extra ordinary meeting of District Bar Association Baramulla held under the Presidentship of Advocate Abdul Salam Rather (President Bar Association Baramulla) conveined pursuant to the news item published in Daily News paper Greater Kashmir dated 20-02-2018 regarding the shifting of the already sanctioned / approved Pass Port Kendra at District post office Baramulla.



The members of Bar Association Baramulla expressed their deep anguish over the aforesaid news item and the stand taken by Superintendent of Post Office Baramulla Mr Vijay Chowhdary regarding the establishment of same.



The members of Bar Association Baramulla impresed upon all the concerned authorities that they shall in no case do any such act which may be detrimental to the establishment of Pass Port Seva Kendra at District Head Quarter Baramulla. The Bar Association Baramulla condemned the biased and derogatory statement on part of Superintendent Post Office Baramulla who happens to be a public servant with ultimate goal of serving the people and by so doing it seems to be that the Superintendent Post Office Baramulla in trying to supersede the authority and directives of Chief Minister of State with some ulterior motives behind, which shall not be tolerated at any cost by any citizen of District Baramulla in general and District Bar Association Baramulla in particular. It was further immpresed upon all the authorities concerned that they shall establish the same within the vicinity of District Head Quarters on war footings so that general public feels sigh of relief.
