Anganwardi workers, helpers stages protest In Baramulla

Scores of Anganwadi workers and helpers staged protests to demand fulfilment of long pending demands of increase in wages, regularization and promotions, and the implementation of pension schemes on Tuesday.



The protesters assembled at Kirapa Park Baramulla and staged protests under the banner of JK Anganwadi and Helpers Association. Protesting workers also demand ban on the fresh engagement of Anganwadi workers till their demands are not met.



“Our protests will continue till our demand should not be fulfilled,” president of the Association Mymoona Nazki told Press Trust of Kashmir.
