Teaching is a field which has been dominated by the female fraternity from ages. Today we have a woman who is today’s women, highly educated and leading the profession with full dedication. We are talking about Dr Hemla Aggarwal, Principal, Govt. College for women Parade.
She got her schooling from Jammu. Later she went to Delhi University for graduation, post graduation from Vadodra and later PHD from Jammu University, she pursued her PHD during service. She wanted to pursue her career as a dietician, for that she got admission in AIIMS, in those days she got opportunity to work in college. She worked for 2 years on ad hoc, later became regular.
She got full family support. Her father was a pillar for her career. She wanted to become dietician but by default came into teaching. But she has enjoyed her teaching career in spite of the fact that she wanted to become dietician. Her family is well educated. Her three sisters are brother are all doctorates.
She has a strong message for those girls who want to excel in their fields. She thinks that those who want to pursue good career, should work with full dedication. Her opinion is that this world is very superficial, we do not do anything in reality. If we work with dedication, then one gets full respect. The respect that one gets in her profession is the thing which gives satisfaction. So working with dedication and hard work is the mantra of success.
