Categorically, international experience shows that finding answers to the greatest public health challenges of the 21st century requires a coordinated effort across all levels of government, academia and the community. It requires high quality, relevant research undertaken in partnership with decision-makers.
We should understand that wise decision are needed to deliver high-quality health within available resources. Moreover, we have to passionately believe in the power of research to contribute to change, and applied persistence and creativity to bring together research and decision-making, leaving an impressive legacy of real improvements in health and healthcare.
For many large and successful research collaborations enormous ability for engaging people from different backgrounds and sectors need research co-production.
The issue like hazardous alcohol use always questions the value to public health of traditional academic research. And on the emphasis on to solve this issue can actually make a difference to people struggling with alcohol problems?
Passion for driving change in public health should become central to everyone’s life work. Whereas government needs to lay down the establishment and ongoing design and implementation of the broad-ranging evaluation program to support J&K's strategic approach to the quality use of medicines.
In the people of Jammu and Kashmir, there is extraordinary intelligence and ability to see a way through the messiest and complex of problems. But we need an understanding that not every problem has a simple solution, but that little by little you could change the direction of an entire system.
Pertinently, Public health is "the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting human health through organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals." Analyzing the health of a population and the threats is the basis for public health. The "public" in question can be as small as a handful of people, an entire village or it can be as large as several continents, in the case of a pandemic. "Health" takes into account physical, mental and social well-being. It is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, according to the World Health Organization. Public health is interdisciplinary. For example, epidemiology, biostatistics, and health services are all relevant. Environmental health, community health, behavioral health, health economics, public policy, mental health and occupational safety are other important subfields.
