Son kills father in Ramban

An inhuman incident shocked everyone when an old aged father has been allegedly done to death by his son with cruelty in a village of Ganote area of tehsil Ramban falling under Ramban police jurisdiction.
Police source said, to misled and hoodwink Doctors of district hospital Ramban and police they managed his admission in District hospital Ramban under MRD no 6720 on Sunday morning for treatment by saying them that old man Ab Majeed (71) son of late Mukhta Shiekh has fallen in front of his house on intervening night of 19 and 20 November.
After first aid he was referred to Govt. Medical College and hospital Jammu for treatment. However Ramban Police claimed they received information from their sources he has sustained grievous injuries of Axe inflicted upon him by his son, Nazir Mohd accompanied by Masser Din son of Aliya Shiek of Karansule Chaba tehsil and district Ramban.
However, Nazir Mohd had fled away after committing the crime
Police said the injured Majid succumbed to his injuries at government medical village and hospital Jammu On Sunday evening. An FIR no 167 of 2017 under section 302 RPC has been registered at police station Ramban in this regard, police station Ramban Police claimed the weapon of offense has been recovered on the instance of Maser .After legal formalities body handed over to his relatives for the last rite.
