The outsiders who have arrived will ultimately change the culture and traditions of Jammu. If I m correct then the fact is that the population has increased manifold. The expansion is good but if negatives are considered then it is bad in one way ot the other. I will site an example here if kids from Jammu and Kashmir go out to study they are ill treated. I will question why’ I have many examples to cite but I will not.
Were our jwellers so incompetent in Jain Bazaar that they had Bengali crafts man to sit and weave the gold: I think they were. Were our labor men so incompetent that their limbs had failed? Were the land lords so minified that they had to sell their property for money? Were our shopkeepers so negligent that they had to hire men from outside to make Chanas and Puris! When we had everything then why invite people to invade a patience ridden place like Jammu.
The men who came from outside did what was damaging. Okay if you do not believe me then travel on a train from Jammu to Bari Brahmana. You will see nothing but shanty places where smoke of cigarettes is permanent. Who are they? Get into Qaism Nagar. It is a drug joint. The law knows it but none acts why and the people here are talking about future generation! Ridiculous idea!
Check as to who is who. The Railway Police should know that who is arriving and who is not. The expansion of Jammu is great and most of us know that it is for the good. After all Mumbai just had a gate way to India where Taj stood firm. It was Trident that came in later. Talk about Kolkata, Fort William is there and it is as it was, The Maidan to play football is there standing firm, the teams are same, Mohun Bagan, East Bengal etc etc. What has changed is the outlook of the people.
The users will use you. The people of Jammu love to be used and they will be used until and unless theu rise. The invasion of outsiders is hurting. You may not feel the pangs of pain now but in future you will! Sorry if I hurt you today. But have a refreshing morning! No fiction in any case!
