VG: How did the game of Kick Boxing originated?
AJ: Kick Boxing is an ancient European Martial Art Game which originated in Italy under the aegis of WAKO which runs in 88 countries worldwide under the name WAKO.
VG: What is the role of WAKO in India?
AJ: WAKO India is the only sole governing body which is working for the promotion of Kick Boxing in India.
VG: Have the players from J&K played on National and International level?
AJ: Our association has produced many National as well as International players in Kick Boxing. Some of the famous players from J&K are Vipul Singh Jamwal, Aman Deep Singh Jamwal and so many others.
VG: Is the game of Kick Boxing recognized by the sports council?
AJ: Yes, the J&K Olympics Association has given affiliation to the Kick Boxing Association J&K in 2013.
VG: What is the work carried out by the Kick Boxing in J&K?
AJ: Our association is working very hard since 2013 in the field of Kick Boxing. It is active in total 15 districts out of 22 districts.
