Illegal parking People continue to park their vehicles nearby GMCH

Continuing our weekly feature, ‘Illegal Parking’, we are today discussing the illegal parking which has been created by the people near by the GMCH in Jammu. Such type of illegal parking could be seen everywhere on the ever congested roads in the Jammu city, which are posing many difficulties for the people as well as the passersby.
Though, there is a need to maintain their road from illegal parking of the vehicles, but still there is not check over its maintaince by the traffic police deputed here at the main chownk, they remain busy to maintain flow of traffic at the main rotary, but they never bothered about to make the nearby roads rid free from the illegal parking of the vehicles.
This is not the problem of illegal parking only on this road stretch but others roads nearby the hospital are also suffering with the same problem, and none is bothered to make them rid free from such illegal parking.
Talking to the young bites, Surinder Sharma, a fruit seller outside the GMCH said, “Everyone is aware about the fact that this is a very important road stretch and it is their duty to make this road free from becoming a illegal parking yard, but people in order to save some rupees, avoid to park their vehicles in the regular parking, which are near by the GMCH but they are least bothered about the difficulties which are being faced by the visitors, who used to visit at the GMCH to get treatment in the Hospital and park their vehicles in the vacant space.”
“It is the duty of traffic cops deputed nearby this road stretch and asked the people to avoid to park their vehicles in this area.”
Meanwhile, the traders of area further appealed to the traffic authorities to paid a visit in this area and fix a sign board, so that the people should avoid parking their vehicles in this road stretch.
