Changing demographics of Jammu! It is not a good idea at all since the future is unfolding right in front of us!

Yes agreed that the world is changing, technology ch1anges almost by every minute and so does the sharpness of men and women behind the machines. We are seeing this happen in Jammu too. Though the generation ahead wants to compete and do well but they are ignorant as to what is happening right in front of them. We are seeing the influx of people moving into Jammu since even the outside people know that Jammu is spreading and none of the people from Jammu are interested to pick up the digging tools or the spades since I think for the people of Jammu working hard is a forgotten idiom. Yes we are the city of temples but who sits there? The bearded men are all from outside and trying to tell us as how to pray. I have seen men in all saffron robes asking for alms and lining in front of liquor shops early in the morning. We know it that all is in bad taste but we are seeing it and to an extent we too are responsible. Why give alms at first instance to men who can work hard? Agreed that with pity we do give but what is going to happen none realizes!
Stand at railway station throughout the day and just check out who is coming and who is going, you will find the answer yourself. Rhongiyas did not arrive here all of a sudden. The people from Chattisgarh did not arrive all of a sudden. Villages together from Bihar have moved in here. The snack selling men from Uttar Pradesh, Barabanki, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow have come into Jammu unnoticed. They have taken over the small time business outlets for example eateries, vegetable mobile shops, early morning and late night rag picking, shacks which sell tobacco products and almost everything right till serving early morning breakfast at shanty outlets. Out of every ten people sitting in private buses seven are the people who are not from Jammu moving from one place to other. What will Government of Jammu and Kashmir do tomorrow or in the years to come if these very people rise up in unison?
Search for answers today lest tomorrow would be a problem of sorts. It is an old adage, ’do not give a finger to anyone since history has proved that the creepy creatures would get to your hands’. These people will definitely gobble up. There are many who came here and started with vegetable shops and today are big time dealers in property. They have constructed shopping malls and schools and have to an extent of presenting houses to some leading politicians. I need not take names but facts are facts and the politicians know that.
Militancy and terrorism are no more the threat. They have been taken care of by the security forces to a major extent. But what not has been taken care of the invasion by the aliens. They are everywhere and one does notice them but so is the hurry today that we forget with a stupid word in Hindi, ‘Theek hai’. Today’s Theek Hai is going to a major problem tomorrow and today’s generation should realize it! Trust me it will and the government should have a look into this. In no way I am telling them to be thrown out but what I want to say is that their prolonged stay is going to be a problem. Jammu and Kashmir after independence has been a place where problem builds up and in the initial stages no one takes care of that. But when it becomes a major one then the government is always caught on the wrong foot. Signing off today but see you tomorrow, if I can!
