Only those causes are met with finally when the aim is a righteous one. But various Kashmiri separatist groups and the terrorists groups were fighting for something which was preposterous to start with and blasphemous as they kept themselves on the on drive. In the initial thunderbolt by JKLF the Kashmiris were blown away. The scare of a bullet on the head swayed there psyche. Lal Chowk became the play ground from where addresses were made and Kashmiris clapped at each every word the separatists said. Syeed Ali Shah Geelani, Late. Abdul Gani Lone, the then Mirwaiz Farooq, Abdul Gani Bhat, Shabbir Shah, Naeem Khan, Azam Inqalabi and many more came out with words that Kashmiris had never heard before. The down town Srinagar was a volatile place always and MirwaizFarooq held the sway. The Friday prayers always started off on a solemn note but when the prayers finished volatility was ushered out of the tongue. In main city it was Yasin Malik who dominated the affairs from Maisuma. By the way Maisuma is well connected to the down town. Syed Ali Shah Geelani (once a MLA) took this as a great opportunity to fulfill his dream project, ‘merger with Pakistan’. Qazi Nissar was doing the same in South Kashmir. The people from South Kashmir could be manipulated and in those days the work was easier. Geelani is also a man from Sopore and thus North Kashmir he was the man who did the inciting job of brain washing the people. JKLF started it all with a cause that Kashmir would be independent. In fact JKLF penetrated into the Jammu region especially so Rajauri, Budhal, Mendhar, Suran Kote, Mandi, Bafliaz etc. They had surprised the security forces and initially it looked that the administration had got the sucker punch right on the nose.
