There is a difference between repent and regret!

Indian security forces have for sure turned the gas on. The militants as usual are on a wild goose chase. This has been the case for last twenty five years and now it seems it is time to wrap and mop up the remnants as far as militancy in Kashmir is concerned. The separatists one way or the other have been given a shut up call and their financial ducts are under some serious scrutiny. Their outlandish words have landed in a pressure cooker and their deeds as far as Kashmiris go will soon be atop a Bunsen’s burner. They separatists loved experimenting and Pakistan took it as an opportunity. Instead of helping Kashmir the Pakistani leaders gave them lashing with an invisible whip. For twenty five years Kashmiris have been seeing the bullet and bomb game.
Its not that initially they were lured by magicians of words but slowly some began walking back but the process was slow but now Kashmiris can see the world changing right in front of their eyes, the process has become faster.
On the other hand the militants are no Robin Hood’s which once Kashmiris thought they were. Robin Hood is a legend but who amongst the militants is a legend? No one and there can be none. They are basically fugitives with no aim in life. I will not get Political here but write something (which to many would sound weird but to many insanity). Kashmiris have their own lifestyle and it’s a great one. One can learn a lot from Kashmiris and the first one is the art of smiling, the second is getting angry for nothing, the third is art of living (you cannot enter even a friends home with boots on), they love style (it is prevalent till now), they love hospitality (it is prompt and needless to mention royal), they cannot get angry but can get it temporarily wrong (though momentarily), they love to learn (they are doing it very well), they want to show themselves up on the National stage (many have made it and are doing extremely well), they are wonderful writers and teachers/professors (examples are many). So why follow a path that is heading no where?
The security forces are there to help you Kashmiris and not to hurt you. Remember one thing, ‘you may be hero today with a gun slung around your shoulders but friendship with gun is a disaster because the man of Indian security forces is better than you in using guns and bombs ‘though it’s a different matter of fact that he will pull the trigger back if you give up’.
If you give up you will get into regret but when you wake up some or the other morning you might find yourself in a lap where you were born. Come what may, the rule is same, ‘face the fire or the morning sweetness of water’ the choice now is yours’.
The militants tried to out wit the Indian army and Kashmiris on behest of Pakistan, and the leadership there made it sure that the horses do not run out of the stable ( the stables were monitored by the separatists in any case).
Militancy is simply a gone case scenario. The apples will be there so will be the cherries and so will be the apricots, walnuts and almonds and Kashmir will be smiling along with the security forces! Realize it I am not talking out of my head! Period! The Kashmiris know it all. The last line ‘Money comes in easily if you work hard and not by throwing stones for working hard’.
