Revenue Department orders probe into the allegations against Lady Patwari

In the wake of an exclusive news report published in Young Bites against the plump postings and premature transfers of tainted employees in Revenue Department, the Special Secretary to Government Revenue Department today ordered an enquiry against a lady Patwari and other revenue officers of District Udhampur.
While taking strict actions on the complaints registered against the lady Patwari and other revenue officials, the authorities have issued an order no REV/NG/67/2016 (comp) and dated 07.08.2017.
“Complaint filed by one Mohammad Din R/o Udhampur against Ms Saima Banday, then Patwari Halqa Jakhani, Tehsil and District Udhampur and other revenue officers of District Udhampur, requested to inquire into the allegations leveled in the complaint and submit a report to the Government to this regard within a period of one month,” an order issued by the Revenue Department, J&K Government said.
Order also laid down that, “Besides Ms, Saima Banday, Patwari concerned may be attached with the office of Regional Director, Survey & Land Records, Udhampur so as to prevent her from influencing the enquiry proceedings.”
Amid this, it is said that there are also many other complaints pending against the concerned revenue officials and they are still under process.
“While, there are certain other scams which needs get in the light, so that proper enquiries should be initiated against these revenue officials,” said local residents of Halqas.
