Three militants were killed in a gunfight with forces in Gulab Bagh village of Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.
An official confirmed that the three militants killed in a gunfight with forces have been identified Zahid Ah. Bhat R/o Nowdal Tral, Md.Ishaq Bhat R/o Batagund Tral, Md Ashraf Dar R/o Baghi Trich in south Kashmir.
Police said that acting on a specific input, police along with Army launched a cordon and search operation in Gulab Bagh Pulwama. During the search militants hiding in the area fired at the search party, the fire was retaliated, ensuing an encounter.
Meanwhile a civilian Mohd Younis Sheikh R/O Soimoo Tral received serious pellet injuries in his chest during clashes at Nowdal area of Tral in Pulwama district.
Official sources told Young bites, Sheikh was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from he was reffered to SMHS Hospital,however, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
