In our weekly section of Talk Show, Young Bites correspondent Vikas Gupta had a brief
discussion with the MLC Ramesh Arora regarding various development works.
VG: After joining as MLC, which projects have been undertaken under your guidance?
RA: I developed Amphalla Chowk., Dumana Tubewell, donated Ambulance to NGO in Kashmir and blind Ashram, developed five ponds with new technology in Akhnoor.
VG: Public Service Commissioner had allotted 47 post of Jammu to Kashmir. Why did not you protest?
RA: What I think is that the posts and results of PSC are being manipulated. There is definitely some loop hole in the working of PSC.
VG: Deputy CM said that he will develop Jammu Tawi like Sabarmati. But the ground reality is that no development is visible so far?
RA: Jammu Tawi will be definitely developed like Sabarmati. We are making the estimate for the project.
VG: When will the Cable car Gandola project start?
RA: Gandola Cable car project will start in the month of December this year. VG: How many Anganwadi centers are there in our state and how many new centers will be made?
RA: In our state there are 465 centers. 48 more centers are in pipeline but till date 21 centers have been made.
