The upcoming online recruitment plan soon will be faceless, paperless and cashless" way to ease out thousands of job seekers facing queue up at various offices, banks multiple times, and now it will be hassle free as all procedures are being joined up for applying a desirable government job.
As part of its digital India initiative, the Centre is planning an ambitious “digital employment exchange” where job seekers can know about vacancies and job opportunities in various Union Ministries and departments through a common online platform. A wonderful step which has been planned by great planners at the center. Yes the Government wants the new generation to be progressive so it is now it is up to the kids newly off the blocks to just take off. Instead of being on face book or down loading songs they should go fro the job hunt. It has become easier now going by the statement made by the center.
As per the plan, all government vacancies will be put up on a common portal and applications will be invited online. Applicants will be allowed to certify their applications with e-Sign, an online electronic signature service which enables an Aadhaar card holder to digitally sign a document.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has held meetings in this regard with all the Ministries and Departments to come up with a framework with details of vacancies, duration and cycle of recruitment announcements, etc. For whom are they doing it? Obviously for the grown up new plantations as far as mankind is concerned. The homework has been done and soon it will be on board. So lets wait and watch as to what is new for you in store.
With this, the Centre is also making attempts to improve the working of Employment Exchanges.
“The job hunt for youngsters will be a one-stop solution. One has to visit regularly the dedicated website to know about the vacancies. There will be an option to register yourself to get updates either on emails or on mobile phones through SMS. The greatest advantage of such a digital initiative would be that there would be no more confusion about dates of exams and interviews clashed which means more opportunity.
Earlier in such case one had to either miss a date with either of recruitment vacancies,” said a DoPT official. What else today’s kids want? A good future fro themselves. Every one is equipped with technology today. It is in hands of everyone. Instead of loosely handling it, handle it firmly. May be the next day you may land up with something exciting. Something you have been waiting for you.
The DoPT would be the nodal agency to coordinate and host all the vacancies and recruitment activities closely monitored by the PMO and all other ministries, departments and PSEs its stakeholders.
“This will definitely bring more transparency in recruitment process and the total number of vacancies being created by the Government every month,” added the official. So if everything is happening within a month then why forget there are twelve of them in a year. So it is a giant step forward in this digitized world.
A large volume of recruitments and vacancies are announced by Railway Ministry and its 16 Zones, Agriculture Ministry, Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Defence Ministry, Science and Technology Ministry, Home Ministry, and the Central Police Organisation, the Postal Department, Income-Tax Department and various Public Sector Undertakings like NTPC, BHEL, GAIL, Powergrid etc at various intervals.
All these will be available with just touch on your mobile or tablet or by pressing the key of the Website they announce. So no need going on a form safari to shops. Its time so just go for it as and when the time arrives folks.
